Downloading EHM?

Post by Klew1987 »

Where can i find a download for EHM. It has been a few years since I last played, but just got the itch and I don't have the download anymore to install. Any idea where I can find it?

i wish SI would make it freeware already...at least then it might help grow the stat based industry - it certainly wouldn't hurt and they said that they aren't making any more sales..

lol hope you still have your code...

It can't be long before it is made freeware, or at least have the price dropped. It's the price of a brand new game! :p

I think you answered your own statement. ;)

It's been this long with no price change... so that would imply that it probably won't be changing anytime soon.

True, silly SI, surely they'd benefit a lot more if it was reduced a lot.

I'm guessing it's something to do with their licensing agreement. Because the game features NHL (and other leagues) licenses, it's probably got to be sold for a certain amount and they probably still have to pay license fees for any new copies sold. This is different than if they actually made physical copies of the game and sold them to stores. Those stores could then mark the game down. That's the way things usually happen. In the case of EHM, the game only exists in digital form. You pay for a license for the game from the source. If they don't sell any more copies of the game, it doesn't cost them anything. If they do, then they owe these leagues a certain amount of money.
