Need a little help on the Minstrel metal skin

first off--this is some awesome work. i have downloaded all types of things I have downloaded the the MM 2005 skin and put that folder in the data/skins folder and put the 2 other files(.col-.skn) in the skins folder. and i have downloaded the custom skin color (flyers) and put them files in the sub folder of MM/interface/ sidebar and titlepanel. the main screen loads fine but when i select load game it just hangs. only way out is ctrl-alt-del and it says "not responding" in task manager. what am i doing wrong? i put all files where they should be. game is fully patched and running win XP. thanks

First off welcome to TBL! Glad you like the look of the skin; the team customizations are fun. We'll do our best to get it up and running for ya so you can see for yourself though.

As for the pronlem you've described... I've never had the game crash or hang in testing/developing any of my skins... skin related problems usually crop up in the form of the game loading with no buttons or no background or another game element missing visually.

It does seem you have gotten everything into the correct locations. I'm not saying it's impossible it's a skin issue but it seems more of a game issue as skins are just graphics laid atop the game's "base" (the text and buton locations etc).

Did you add anything like a database project when you added your files as well?

One thing I'd suggest is removing the Minstrel Metal skin and trying to load EHM. If it still crashes then we know it's not an issue with Minstrel Metal.

Yes,when i first started a career i put in a new database with new rosters and unfaking names. Now i'm into year 2013. i did remove the MM skin and it loads on default skin now.
