i currently play challange 16 with EDM oilers. Its very fun and hard.

we are allowed to make 1 trade per year and pick up 1 ufa at max 2m wage each year.

first 2 years sucks bad ass as the team got no defence or keepers and also the drafts are pretty empty. But now in year 3 where i am the fun have started for real :)

While I'm waiting for the opening ceremony for the olympics 2010 I am playing some EHM with my Tampa Bay save. :-)

I will soon start the 2015/2016 season. I've won the Stanley Cup two times. 2012/2013 and 2014/2015.

Last season (2014/2015) I won the cup with ease! I have never had an easier time winning the cup in EHM!
I had a great team (the best team I have ever had in EHM) with two super-stars in Ovechkin and Kovalchuk, and those two were great - and other players like Lecavalier, Hedman, Jagr regen, Forsberg regen and Messier regen all had a fantastic seasons:

Messier regen: 82 games; 44 goals, 90 assists, 134 points.
Forsberg regen: 77 games; 54 goals, 77 assists, 131 points.
Kovalchuk: 69 games; 48 goals, 75 assists, 123 points.
Jagr regen: 80 games; 51 goals, 64 assists, 115 points.
Ovechkin: 67 games; 50 goals, 53 assists, 103 points.
Lecavalier: 54 games; 28 goals, 60 assists, 88 points.

----
Now I will have to get rid of some players in order to fit under the salary cap... I don't think I can afford Kovalckuk next season(2015/2016)...... If I want to keep him I will have to trade/get rid of some players... :-(
But I have Messier regen, Forsberg regen and Jagr regen all under contract for the next 6 years, so the future looks good :-)

Yes I would like that to. How does he develop. I am not sure if I draft him or not.

Just finished the 2019-20 season as GM of the Ottawa Senators. I won my fifth straight Stanley Cup as well as my 7th in the last 8 years. Unfortunately, my team got ripped apart by free agency, and I lost a number of key players including the Forsberg regen. And for some reason, despite my success, no big name players were interested in signing to my team, despite having about $30 million in cap space as of July 1st.

So, with a team that would probably end up rivaling this years Oilers, I decided if I was going to have to rebuild anyway, might as well try something new, so I resigned and I'm going to take a job in the Canadian juniors.

Final standings with Senators:
727-504-109 (0.583%)
4847 GF (3.62/game)
4151 GA (3.10/game)
7 Stanley Cups
2 Presidents Trophys

I guess Ottawa is still a stinkhole to free agents then, could not re-sign any of your players who went UFA then.

I managed to pick 3 players who seem to be the regens of Peter Forsberg, Zdeno Chara and Niclas Lidstrőm in the same draft judging by their attributes, but i'm not too sure.
I also have Frolov scoring at nearly 2 ppg, and my defensive corps consist of Drew Doughty, Jack Johnson, Luke Schenn and Colten Teubert. I also managed to acquire Nikita Filatov, Taylor Hall and Teemu Pulkkinen

I think i MIGHT have overdid it just a bit

EDIT: My lines at the moment are
Filatov - Kopitar - Frolov
Hall - Handzuš - Brown
Simmonds - Peverly - Pulkkinen
Cehlin - Petersen - Zeiler

Souray - Johnson
Bieksa - Doughty
Robidas - Schenn

Quick - Biron

Try using CAS database. But I'm not sure what year it is saved in. You can always autosim a few years ahead and you'll get many regens.

I am the St. Louis Blues.

Just finished my first season 11th in the western conference. Tkachuk became topscorer of the league. So now I decided to have some fun and challenge my IRL local team, the Nijmegen Devils to play a friendly on their pitch. Only to see it end in a huge fight... :dunno:

What's that? Blowing off frustration from the regular season?

To respond on Tasku here...

I had him hit hard in the beginning of the season, but he racked up an unacceptable amount of penalty minutes... I really don't like having the opposition a one man advantage every time.

And now he's out for 7 months with torn MCL.

I don't mind lots of penalties as long as I win. Which is exactly what my team is doing.

I've been playing with Montreal Canadiens using the newest Lidas update and I'm now about halfway through my second season. First season was mediocre all the way through, us finishing 7th in our conference and being eliminated by the Devils in the first round of playoffs, though to be fair they went on and won the Stanley Cup. Anyway the fans wanted me out and I was confident to make a change for the better come this season by revamping the squad during the course of the summer and luckily I had the board's confidence despite the fans and got to keep my job. The most important players for me in the first season were Andrei Markov and newcomers Marian Hossa and Petr Průcha, so I wanted to keep them. After a lot of wheeling and dealing in the free transfer market and in Europe, this was the team I was going to the season with:

1.
Prucha - Marleau - Hossa
Markov - Gonchar
Luongo

2.
Cole - Lombardi - Zherdev
Gauthier - Hamrlik
Price

3.
Cooke - Primeau - Vasicek
Frögen - Mitchell

4.
Dawes - Metropolit - Chistov

So far it has paid off, I'm leading the league comfortably and Marleu and Hossa are joint top in the point total rankings. Going for the Cup this year! I drafted Taylor Hall, Austin Watson and Gasper Kopitar and they're all in their junior teams. Any suggestions on who should I get or draft?

Btw some of the regens that have started appearing at ages 14 and 15 around Canada and the US are crazy! They could play in the NHL already as far as their stats are concerned for crying out loud!

My second season with Devils and Lidas 2,2 update was `bout to start when after great 1st first season.Finished second in regular season and won Stanley Cup.My team was full of youngsters and is still.BUT i was just starting 2nd season when my game crashed and I obviously had to start new game but here`s my rosters after game crashed. But I put some stats next to player,if player didnt play any games on my team I put nothing

Êlias (GP= G=45 Points=93 AvR=7.94 ) - Parise(GP=81 G=30 P=86 AvR=7,42) - Rolston (GP=79 G=44 Points=94 AvR=8,65)

Metacalf(GP=66 Goals=5 Points=26 AvR=7,27)-Martin(GP=79 G=5 Points=22 AvR=7,33)

Brodeur(GP=79 Wins=51 SO=5 SV%=0,920 AvR=8,63)

Kovalchuk(GP=65 G=31 Points=78 AvR=8,54) - Zajac(GP=80 G=23 Points=79 AvR=8,16) - Hall

Methot(GP=50 G=5 Points=17 AvR=7,72) - Fowler

Gustavsson

Pihlman(GP=82 G=11 Points=28 AvR=7,33) - O`Reilly(GP=82 G=7 Points=22 AvR=) - Zubrus(GP=82 G=38 Points=77 AvR=)

Salmela(GP=82 G=8 Points=27 AvR=6,83) - Meilleur

Skrøder - Sopanen(GP=18 G=4 Points=14 AvR=7,44) - Clarkson(GP=78 G=6 Points=18 AvR=7,40)And also incredible 1196 PIM

You may wonder why Kovy is 2nd line.Reason is that he was injured 2 months and I have to replace him and I noticed that Elias was much better there that Kovy.Methot and Zajac were chosed to Rookie All-Star team end of the season.Sopanen finished with 23 goals and 56 points in 61 game also in that season.AND Clarkson is Nhl most wanted player everybody wants him. :)
