Most teams are saying they will rest their Olympians for at least the first game back and instead make call-ups to cover their positions. For example Detroit will call up four players to cover for their returning Olympians. This will lead to a lot of odd box scores I think... not just that scores may be crazier than usual but also there is a really high chance of looking at the next few day's worth of boxes and thinking "Who the hell is that guy?"
Don't worry they are only guys escaping the bus routes long enough for a "cup of coffee" before they go back to the minors.
