Yeah Montreal faced Edmonton in front of like 50,000 people outdoors in the "Heritage Classic" which featured a great veterans matchup before it with Oilers v Montreal including Mark Messier by special permission for the Oilers and Guy LaFleur and Larry Robinson among others for the Habs.
It was realllllllllllly freakin cold though leading to one of the more well known images from the game being Jose Theodore wearing a touque over his mask.
It was cool to see though, I also wouldn't mind seeing that Badger game even if it did mean driving 8 hours to Green freakin Bay. My friends and I used to go to all the Badger hockey games when we were at school there. Those games were a blast.

You fellow MA folks may have heard of this already but Boston College's hockey team will be playing a game in Fenway Park next season. They are hoping to do a double header with Boston University and probably 2 other top Hockey East teams like Maine and UNH. The details are still in the works but that could be awesome, an outdoor hockey game in Fenway Park.
