I voted for Batdad so we're tied now. May I assume it is the three non-active teams that hasn't voted?

Including your vote, we only have seven votes total so far... so it's actually half the league who hasn't voted yet. ;)

By the way: for anyone who voted previously, you can re-vote if you want.

Either way, I'm planning on simply adding the old votes to the new. That way no one's progress in the previous voting will be forgotten.

Which puts the race at:

Graham Black Ice: 6
[////////////]

Christoffer Backa: 4
[////////]

Daniel Ahlund: 3
[//////]

Write-in: 0
[]

Total votes: 13

I haven't voted yet, as I thought there's no hurry. I also have to admit that I have been even more inactive lately than usual, but last weeks have been the busiest time of the year at work for me and I'm happy I have had time to fix my lines for the weeks.

My playoff run seems to end up short, as my team stopped producing as soon as the PO's started. Ovie taking a week off and my goalies kinda doing the same while playing are ending in one of the poorest weeks in the whole season... Well, this has been a roller coaster season, so it's not a big surprise.

I also voted for Black Ice.

For the record, it's BS that I'm not in the playoffs. I can't figure out how I missed out. :furious:

Edit to add that if I was playing batdad this week instead of Chilliwack he would only be up 7-5 instead of 10-1-1 and I have Heatley, Gaborik, Latendresse and Bryz going tonight.

Heh. And I have Marleau, Pavelski, Iginla, Bourque, Richards, Hartnell and a bunch of others going tonight, so in the end the score would be the same. I would blow you out too, even though my team has been brutal as far as I am concerned for the last 4 weeks.

Unfortunately, I'm not sure I have an answer for this, either. The only tiebreaker listed for playoff seeding is head-to-head record. Which means nothing to us when you and Chilliwack played only one game, and it was a tie.

getzlaf brought up a good point with it maybe going to Roto scoring, but that can't be the case - Phaneuf was ahead of Chilliwack in 10 out of the 12 categories, so he'd surely have more points if the full Roto procedure was carried out. It can't be season goals, either, because Phaneuf was better in that as well. It can't be head-to-head Goals, because they were tied there.

The only possibilities I see left are:

- Goalie Wins - First of the two categories Chilliwack is ahead of Phaneuf.
- Goalie GAA - Second of the two categories Chilliwack is ahead of Phaneuf.
- Moves - Chilliwack made more moves during the season.
- Alphabetical order

Of those, I would have to conclude that they don't have a second tiebreaker, and just fall back on the default alphabetical order. :dunno:

We'll see, I'll be doing a final 'what would have been' tally tomorrow afternoon.

If the tie-break was alphabetical that is a huge joke.

I have to agree with catchup. If it was alphabetical thats rubbish. Even though I won I don't like it cause I know it would suck to be on the other end of it. Think someone needs to send an email to espn to get this looked at.

Everyone loves the underdog, right? Next up - Mustangs!

I find it amusing that one of the reasons for my win was a shutout by Fleury of all people. That was his first BTW, he is inconsistent as hell and has been driving me crazy all season. Three other reasons for my win would be Steen (4GP 2G 3A), Stempniak (4GP 3G 1A) and Mueller (3GP 2G 1A). Yay for free agent hot streaks!

Looking at the Mustangs roster I don't see myself having much of a chance but I guess anything is possible if the right players go hot/cold or get injured. After all if we had faced each other last week I would have won the matchup 6-4-2 if my at-a-glance calculations are correct.

(I hope your players) Break a leg Mustangs!

Anythin can happen as you say... I scraped through my first week thanks to Selanne's 600th goal. It turned out as a PPG (which tied a category) and a GWG (which also tied a category). Which ultimately scraped me a win...

Good luck for the series Newbie. :-D

Ah good. My semifinal is a chance to once and for all dispatch of that annoying Corinthians Red Army. He is one of only 2 to beat me this season, so I MUST avenge my loss. And in the other semi final I will be rooting for the stupid Mustangs believe it or not...because I must avenge the loss to them as well.

So by my count I would have lost to b-diddy 7-5-1.

Outcome is the same, but maybe would have been more interesting with me in the main bracket. :-D

Take Huet's 7 GA performance, an multiply it by a whole season, and you've got Steve Mason.

What a waste of a pick he was.
