This is popping up too often for a lot of noise not to made about it. I wouldn't be surprised if the any of the three junior leagues, if not the CHL itself, comes down much harder in the future. The problem is that these players are still going to move forward with their careers into the professional ranks, so what would a suspension matter to them? These actions would face under 10 games in suspensions in the NHL, so what do they care now about laying out some other kid?

On the WHL front, you gotta feel for the Lethbridge Hurricanes allowing 20 goals in losing 9-2 to the Chilliwack Bruins, and 11-1 to the Vancouver Giants.

I think he just ruin his chances to be pick in the first round, I wouldn't be surprise. I'm curious to wait the final ranking see where he's gonna end.

The final ranking just came out. Kabanov as gone from the 15 place to the 31 place. I'm not surprise and almost happy about that. Seguin leads the ranking with Hall just behind. But I'm sure Hall will be pick first though.

If the Oilers win the lottery I will bet Seguin goes 1st overall. Oilers need a big centre. All reports suggest that Edmonton will take Seguin. So do not bet on Hall going first. I sure would not.

I didn't think about that. It's almost sure the Oilers will be the first, they will be very unlucky if not. If they search somebody big, they should not look for Hall it's a fact. :-D

I'm going to go against batdad (surprisingly) and i think if the Oilers get 1st overall, they will pick Hall...

Kabanov didn't make Russia's U18 roster. Yikes. He also wants to play where it's warm :D

Here's how I think they should draft if given the first pick(lottery is tonight)
EDM - Seguin
BOS - Hall
FLA - Hall
CBS - Seguin
NYI - Hall

I really hope Edmonton picks Seguin. Hall would look great on Savard's wing!

Exactly. I'm looking for news, rumours and stuff. A good forum or a blog would also be very helpful.

Those boards for WHL anyway, at HF are mostly parents and the kids themselves posting about what their hopes are. I would not call them accurate or good. There really is not much out there, at least for WHL that makes any sense at all.

Regarding news and such, I like Gregg Drinnans blog; Taking note. He seems to have good knowledge of the game.

Scouting reports are not good anywhere, too much homerism

Drinnan's blog is very good for WHL, at least the Western Conference. And he links to a bunch of other good ones for the league, and other leagues.
