New AHL prospects cards-an idea for EHM?

Post by BlackCats101 »

These (real-life) trading cards set looks good. Is this a possible future style for EHM facepacks, Minty?

I'm really not the big cards guy; but yeah something like that could be done; card set chanllenges always come down to sources though and if you decided to go to an action type photo it becomes even more challenging to get a clean source shot for every player... and some people like action shots where as I would like instead to see what the player actually looks like. That is a whole different argument though.

So, I don't know what the cards gurus will decide on in the future but that is a style that could be worked into a template, yeah. But then they may enlist your help to convert the 5000+ pics currently in the vintage style so you may want to be careful what you wish for 8-)

I prefer "headshots" and without team logo.Action shots are not usable once a players is traded.

That type of photo would be lightyears better as news item pictures instead of player pictures.

My Opinion: the style looks good...but nothing special....

if you ask 20 guys on this board what's his favorite design for player cards, you'll get 20 different answers...

and it will be impossible to get good actionshots of players for all the leagues we've covered with the card-style :dunno:

...must be about 6.000 now....
