So people, the World Championships starts! Germany Vs. USA before the world record crowd of 76 152 spectators!
my tip:
Narrow victory for the U.S.

There's a player from the Fort Wayne Komets that's playing for Kazakhstan and I played against the goalie from Latvia, so I have a rooting interest for those two nations, besides the USA.
I wish we could see some of those games from over here in the States.

Congratulations to Germany! Opening the tournament on home ice, in front of a HUGE crowd, with an overtime victory. That is great for Germany, and very good for hockey.

I feel bad that Russo (from the IHL's Port Huron Icehawks), was bombarded with shots and was pulled, but 27 saves against a team with some big names that Canada has isn't too bad.

Wow!!! That's a great win for Denmark and I don't care who Finland has or doesn't have, it's still a win over Finland.

Sweden beat Norway 5-2.
But it was 2-2 at one moment during the game but Sweden managed to pull away and win.
