I always wait to day 2 to look for coaches. That is why. In mine Dave Andreychuk is an unemployed super coach. Hopefully he signs. Fernandez is not even a coach in mine.

The OHL Season Preview was released and we weren't the bottom ranked team! That honor went to the Oshawa Generals. We came in next worse at #19. :-p

And Brett Ritchie made the Top RW list at #6.

I've also got Brandon Francisco at #6 on the Top Prospects list.

I just had Arniel, Neal, and Katic sent back to us from their NHL clubs. I wasn't expecting that since they started the game assigned to their AHL affiliates. I figured they'd go back there.

I dumped Neal and Katic. So I won't see them. Interesting...is anyone getting Goloubef back? Arniel will be nice to get if I get him though.

I haven't gotten Goloubef back. As much as Katic and Neal might help, getting 3 OAs dumped on my kind of throws a wrench in my plans. I was pretty well set at center. Arniel is good though. So I have to fit him in. One of my C's gets bumped. Also, now I have to sit Neuber and Stevens because they're OAs. So I've got Alderson dressed now and I've got a center playing right wing. I would almost be easier if I didn't use them.

Yeah I have a ton of C. They are clearly my best players. Don't care though. Train em all to play RW. Heh.

Anyway..I hate Hottot

I had all three sent back as well and Francisco was the #6 LW. Funny how so many things can be the same, yet so many things are different.

What salary did you give them? Are they full-time of part-time with you?

Francisco is getting bumped off the lineup in your game? I kind of like him in mine. He's my 2nd line LW... for now.

Same here so I'm stuck with 5 overagers.

I sat Neal for two games when Hottot was suspended for two games and dressed Stevens for both games.

We were ranked dead last in the Season Preview, with Ritche also being ranked in the top 10 RW.

We have been doing surprisingly well this season. We are 4-4 after 8 games and have not had a blowout loss yet. We just barley lost to Windsor by one goal, with my backup goalie.

We'll see how the rest of the season goes.

I should also mention that the team seems to dig themselves into hole down 4 or 3-0 before coming back and either winnign or making it close.

Can't wait to get started on this. Just came home from a 4-day-vacation in sunny Okinawa. Need to get some sleep, and then I'll start with the challenge =D>

The ISS just released their first set of rankings for the NHL draft. Rogalski was ranked 33rd. Chiarlitti was ranked 123rd. So far (5 games into the season), Chiarlitti has a point per game for us. He's out-performing Rogalski. I wonder what their rankings will look like mid-season?

Wow. Rogalski was 105 and Chiarlitti was right behind him in 106th place.

I cannot wait for my rankings. Anyway..Fransisco has been horrible in my exhibition season. As has Ritchie. That and the draft should be interesting as Chiarlitti and Rogalski have been my two best.

McQwauk--I just signed them to what they asked for. Nothing more nothing less. And they were full timers when I sent them the contract. Did not change a thing.

So I was 19th as well. I have not one player in a top spot in a position or in prospects. Oh well. Challenge for me.

No. He was ranked the #6 LW in the OHL.

So I lost both Vickers and Ritchie in one game. Now I have to scratch Neal so I can dress one of my overage RW.

As a side note, I made copies of and renamed the logos for the Majors and Icedogs so I actually have the logos for them as well.

So who is everyone using as their goalies? I'm going with Campbell and Phillips. Campbell was my starter but he started struggling, so I've gone with Phillips for the last couple games and he's done very well. I've got Parker and Raymond down with the Legionnaires. Parker is doing pretty well.

I have Gladwish and CAmpbell right now. Did not sign Parker yet. However, I will be moving Raymond up and down with Gladwish and Campbell I am sure, based on the age. Starting Gladwish in my 1st game.

I just got Arniel back too. No sign of Goloebef though.

I'm using Campbell and Raymond. Mostly Campbell who's doing quite well overall. Raymond is currently injured so Phillips is up for backup duty. Phillips is 11-0 with the Legionnaries so far.

I never even signed Gladwish. I went with youth and potential instead.

I also did not sign Gladwish. Coach reported that he wasn't worth our effort during camp.
