Jussi Jokinen is really on fire in the playoffs. He's not getting much ice time, but still seems to find the net.

Marty St-Louis's mother passed away yesterday and he will still play tonight. Hats off to him for doing that.

Convincing win there by the Rangers. I don't like both team but I would like to see the Pens losing this serie.

A guy walks into a Vancouver bar and asks for 10 ounces of flat beer served in a plastic cup, and wants to be charged $9 for it. The bartender says: ‘Are you crazy?’ The guy replies, ‘No, I just miss going to Canucks games.’ ” . . .

Another big win by the Rags. Never thought I would say that one day but I hope they win the seven game and send the Pens on the gold court.

I don't know what problem the Penguins has. Most players are underachieving.philou21 wrote:Another big win by the Rags. Never thought I would say that one day but I hope they win the seven game and send the Pens on the gold court.

True, and we finally have normal Fleury in PO and Letang at top form. Sutter is very good, PK unit as well, depth play good, but top lines are not working for now.

They don't have that much problems, true. But what you've said here makes me want them out. I hate teams that are not doing much going far only because their best players are showing 1 game out of 3. Plus I hate Fleury and I hope he'll collapse tomorrow, like he seems to do so often this year.jhcjobpb wrote:Most players are underachieving.

Re: Official NHL 13-14 Playoffs Thread
If Montreal woud've played saturday like they did yesterday they would've won the serie in six. I was surprised to see them play that good. Boston did not played a bad game either but the Habs were all over the place. I was thinking Bruins in 7 but if the Habs pull the same performance tomorrow I really don't know who will win the serie.
Anaheim as 3 win in a row now! Wake-up Kings!

Pens lose and Boom....feel the explosion? Things gonna blow up there if they lose this gm 7. Montreal-Boston is awesome as always. LA-Ana awesome (Smith-Pelly)
Boston still wins
Rangers win
Ducks win
Hawks win
Too bad these brackets did not set up...so close to original 6 final four.

What's the worse that could happen anyway? Bylsma and Shero out? Maybe Fleury or Malkin?

I still have no clue at all who's gonna lift the Stanley this year.
Maybe it's a year like when LA won. This time Minnesota.
I'm a guy who always want to see new teams win the cup. Minnesota (never), Montreal & Rangers (ages ago). But I like the Ducks, so they can win.

Of course I want the Rangers to win, but if not them, then it would be cool to see Teemu end his career with a cup win

Minnesota definitely outplayed Chicago, but the Hawks were clutch when it counted.
Lundqvist easily had one of the best performances of the play-offs, as did Crawford.
I pick the Hawks vs Rangers in the final, with the Hawks winning of course.

Blablabla last year was a disaster for predictions IIRC. It's still a gamble even if you say so.batdad wrote:Of course they won philou. Look at that post a few above yours. Sheesh.

We might not be in the same weight class. Chara vs. St.Louis.
Well I'm not as short as St.Louis. I'm more like Mikael Granlund.

I'm small myself. Probably the smallest, in terms of weight, of TBL. 5 foot 7 and 130 pounds.

I don't think a fan of the Rangers should mock other people.

Didn't take long for the Pittsburgh media to bring out the knives, I see.
