Mason signs with the Thrashers 2 years, $3.7M total.

Jokinen to the Flames for 2 years, $6M total.

Ladd is being delt to Atlanta for draft picks and prospects. I am starting to get really worried about the whole Chicago thing :-/ 7 players out already, I wonder how Buff, Ladd and the rest will perform in Atlanta...

Chicago is getting dismantled but wasn't it somewhat expected? This was the year they had to win the Cup if they were going to do it. The salary cap can be cruel sometimes.

I'm thinking Atlanta might be interesting to play in EHM next season from the way things are going.

Haha it's just confirmed now. Before it wasn't. It was unknown as to whether it was completed before and I'm just putting what my Twitter says

Hedberg sign too with the Devils, again they would have a solid goaltending. Jokinen wasn't playing that well so maybe is value dropped a little bit but 3 millions is a really good signing for the Flames, maybe Sutter have saw our posts about him here.

I've heard they try to re-sign Belanger but nothing else....they don't need that much, they are consider Cup contender......oups.

What's the point in that stupid contract the Rangers gives to Boogaard?? Sather doesn't have a guy named Brashear who just been put on waiver because of a stupid big contract for a goon?

PS: Koivu sign 2 years with the Ducks, worth 5 millions.

Seeing some of those deals I'm really glad Chiarelli didn't have enough space to join the party. Hamhuis 4.5, Volchenkov over 4m, Armstrong 3m, Jokinen back to Calgary ROFL Holy mother of Niittymäki those are some awful deals
