Schenn, Kaberle, Komisarek, Beauchemin, Phaneuf, yeah your right it's an awful defence. You prove pretty well you don't know your hockey LOL.
Kaberle is a top D-Men, Phaneuf can be a top D-Men too, he got some problems at Calgary but we're gonna see with the new season but he proves he can be really good. Komisarek is overated but can be a good 4-5 defenceman. Schenn is young but he will become good . Beauchemin is a pretty good 3-4 defenceman, Gunnarsson looks like a decent young D-man too. The big problems is Finger and Van Ryn. Yeah sucks really well, your team called the Nucks don't have the 2/3 of that defence, yeah it sucks bad.....

9 teams are facing cap penalties, most notably Chicago at 4.1, Boston at 1.75 and Toronto at 1.4.

More fuel for the Simon Gagne rumours:

Personally, I don't think I'll be too upset to see him go - He's injury prone, and getting old. Now's the best time to trade him and still get a good return... like a real starting goalie, for once, Holmgren!

I guess you did not watch/follow the Leafs at all last season, because what you said proves you don't know hockey.
Kaberle is pretty good yes, Phaneuf is overrated, the rest can defend, but can't move the puck out worth rubbish, and yeah the Nucks don't have as naff a defence as that, who would want it.

Oh alright so you base your opinion on the season they got? What about bad goaltending and no attack to score goal to win? Sorry but the Nucks are not better at defence and everyone knows that, the main reason is called Luongo who can back up the bad defence, you're just not can't stop argue and admited your wrong that's all, you're ALWAYS argueing on everything, I think I'm done answering your posts I just waste my time.

Yes I read about him taking drugs and alcohol alot. He even got ban from Canada because of that. I didn't knew that about him so when I read that I've got the same reaction as you, not surprising.
Between Halak sign a 4 years 15 millions contract with the Blues.

Yeah, Stuart refused to file for arbitration, on the contrary to Wheeler and Campbell. Player elected salary arbitration also means a second buyout period for the Bruins. Although I don't think they're going to buy out Ryder.bruins72 wrote:Yup! That's a good thing. And I hear they're close to coming to a deal with Stuart.

Yeah, it just doesn't make sense for the Bruins to buy out Ryder. This is the last year of his contract. I'm pretty sure that if they bought him out, they'd have a cap hit this year and next. Why do that to themselves next year? Plus, this being a contract year, Ryder is bound to have a decent season. Still, I'd love it if they could trade him for a box of tape and some sticks.

Contract years mean nothing to good ol Mikey. In his contract year in Montreal he was bombarding fans with cardboard planes from the pressbox.
The Bruins however need to move one bigger contract. Ideally you wanna go with 22 players on the roster, Bruins have 17 not counting Sturm. Including cap penalty and wiggle room for Chia they've got like 3m left.
