Would it be possible for the game engine to support manual line changes??? I always wished in 07 that even on the road if we won the faceoff we should be able to get the matchup we want but your coach won't make an "unscheduled" change outside of the shift intervals you set.

I would love to see some customization features. Without using other utilities. Maybe I've been spoiled by the OOTP and TEW series where I can essentially create new leagues and players/wrestlers with ease, but it's the one thing that I think EHM really needs.

It hasn't been a problem yet in EA, but in the past couple versions I didn't like having to coach games myself to win. This version I won the cup year one, so I hope it kind of keeps up like that.

Thanks for the new EHM:EA, I really like the game so far. Here are few wishes that come to my mind:
Updated season excpectations
Higher resolution
More options to build up powerplay tactics
Importable training schedules
Exit to main menu option

Also I think Football Manager series has many great features that would fit well in EHM:
Press conferences
More player interaction, Team talks possibly, Tutoring young players
3D match engine

i really, really like the game...BUT i would love to have it in german...its ok to play it in english and i guess that the majority of players are native speakers (english)...but would be cool to release language files...would put this game over the top for me! (my hopes are up cause there was a german ehm 2007 version)...other than that...this release is the best news for a looong time! :joy:

Not sure if this has been wished for before but I sadly noted that the game only supports pictures up to 200 pixels in height while as EHM07 could handle pictures like 185x230 pixels just fine. Right now my old player pictures aren't working perfectly and I'd like to have a fix in this. :-(

If it helps, Faststone Image Resizer can resize or crop a whole folder of images in seconds. I use it when I'm creating logo packs (I create the Huge size and then use Faststone to create all of the other sizes). The tool is completely free.

Under history of each team should be smth like on Eliteprospects "star and cult players" or simply "club legends"....

Well I got every picture the size of 185x200 but now none of my pictures work... I guess I'm doing something wrong with the program but I can't be bothered with it just now. I'll try again tomorrow possibly.

Something I really wish would come is that you have the option to buy your arena in order to expand it! Perhaps even the option to build a brand new arena, choose the capacity, arena name etc. The bigger the more expensive! I think they have something like this in Football Manager if I'm not mistaken

For hits to not be based on a players size. Smaller players can hit as well.

This would be very nice. The Red Wings are breaking ground on a new downtown arena soon.

Come to think of it, I think JPG images don't work in game any more. I have only been able to get PNGs to work. Try using PNGs if you haven't.

Are you finding hits are too unbalanced in the new game? Some tweaks were make to EHM:EA in this respect.

All around I want a realistic game on the hockey side... So rookies generation and the matches...

But also I would love it that in the future (I guess far) the leagues doesn't "stales". I would love to see expansion teams, teams that moves, etc. and not just because I could "edit" it, but actually the game making it happen in various leagues over the years. So I would like to see the "economy" side of the game beind developped a little bit more to add some challenges.

English Leagues! Go (MK) Lightning! (Though I imagine Riz will have fun re-coding the league to account for how the League Cup group-stages are run now). seriously though would be fun to have the Elite, Premier and National Leagues 1 & 2. Was toying with buying FHM to try managing in the lower reaches of the British leagues.

Dynamic League Reps - like in FM, if a league's profile increases (say a European team has a good run in the Champion's Hockey League) then the overall reputation of that league can increase, or decrease in a slump?

Training - I love the training module in FM15, for the first time I've found myself interested in developing players. Being able to select individual training and training based on Player Roles would help those 'lower league' managers who like to develop talent.

I'll second U18 managment for the National sides, as well as being able to select both a club and national team to play as without adding a new manager.

I'd like the player sprites (the little circles) to not just be the main jersey colour (blue or white for NYR, White or Black for MKL) but to include the Secondary and Tertiary kit-colours too (Blue/Red/White for Rangers home, White/Blue/Red for away. White/Black/Gold for MKL and Black/Gold/White for their away).

An Editor is a must, or at least compatibility with current 3rd-party editors. I think everyone must modify their teams at least a bit based on their knowledge.

Eventually (in future versions of the game at least) I'd love to see a full 3D Engine with different arenas and Jersey-styles, different sized players and Mo-cap by actual players. So happy to see EHM back in any form though.

I would love to see a proper option that would allow you to ask a player to waive their NTC/NMC. Maybe even if they give you a list of teams they won't waive for to make it a little more challenging.

Some of the text is downright goofy. 2 teams considering a trade. Edmonton and Red Deer, WHL and the news item says "Red Deer to turn to Pollock" Ahem ok...... hope they don't turn to far. Several better options IMO 1. Red Deer looking to trade for Pollock 2.Pollock on the move? 3. Edmonton and Red Deer talking trade?
Actually, having a few different news messages would make the game more interesting.

You can effectively do this with "offer to all". Only teams that the player would waive the clause for will respond.

I think that was changed. For example, I offered Bieksa to all teams, around 20 of which replied. I accepted a trade from Florida, and got a message a day or two later saying the trade did not go through because of Bieksa's NTC.

I think that means Bieksa didn't want to take his talents to South Beach.

Can't say I blame him :-p

But if what the other poster said is true, then either the "offer to all" method has changed, or I hit a glitch. Either way, I think it'd be fun to have a proper option for asking a player to waive.

THE FONT!!!

I miss, love the classic EHM 2007 font. I don't know what it was called, but it was great. To me it was almost as much a feature of the game as trades and contracts. I love that font. Please bring it back.
