A couple more questions

Post by Konstantinov16 »

Do I have to have fog of war enabled? Also, I noticed that to start out the leafs averaged club salary is like 40 some mil... anyone have any good tips to get the salary down some? Thanks,

Matt

I don't remember if it's stated in the rules but I'm pretty sure we're supposed to have the fog of war enabled. I always play that way.

Your best bet for trimming your payroll is to target teams that have cap space and a big budget, like Washington. Try to unload some of your overpaid guys on them. Just keep in mind, you probably won't get top dollar for them.

Thanks Bruins

Hey, thanks for the reply and the info. Is there any way to tell for sure that you should have fog enabled? It would make my game a lot easier if we didn't have to, but rules are rules.

Your best bet is to read the rules of the challenge. It should say something under the section where it tells you how to set up your game. If it doesn't, your best bet is to ask one of the mods. Or you could just start your game with the fog enabled. It's really not going to make that much of a difference. The only players that should end up "fogged" are prospects and that sort. Once you send your scouts out, they should show you more.

Yeah, that's all true. I suppose it won't make a difference. Thanks again.

Fog of war enabled is down at the bottom of the very first screen you have when you set up the league. Default I believe is to have it on, so if you did not play with it, you should be fine. If you have fog of war off you will see every attribute of every player...if you have it on..there will be many not showing attributes.
