Similar topic, but what is the best trade that you have seen the CPU make and thought 'I wish I could have pulled that one off'?

Once a computer landed Eric Staal and Erik Cole for a 4th in 06, 07, 08, and 09.

I was being Phoenix so I couldn't reject it :(

What version of the game was this in? I can't even see you getting one of them for that little, nevermind both.

Heh, it was at the beginning of the 2nd season of the Washington challenge. He had a poor first season though, and was makeing like 6.5 million.


I picked him up anyway. :-p

You'll never see that happen in 2.1.3 though. The trading is so much tougher. I'm usually able to get Erik Cole for a steep price (sometimes if your timing is perfect you can get him cheaply) but I've never been able to pry away Staal.
