I'm new on the board, so first of all, hello to everybody.
Really enjoying the game with the Custom Start Patch. Think it's possibly one of the most amazing patches ever made for a computer game. It really helps a classic game to hold it's value years after it's original release. Very impressed by it. I know there's one also for Championship Manager 01/02, but there's just so much hassle to get it to work. With this patch it's as easy as breathing.
Just finished my first season with the Blue Jackets. Ended up 3rd from bottom, but the board seems seemingly satisfied. Now I have a question regarding the patch. What will happen when I reach 1st of July? I know I had to keep starting the game through the patch until I reached February 1st. Just in case I have continued to do so and haven't encountered any errors. Now, I read from the read me file sent with the file that after 1st July I shouldn't do so. Am I correct thinking that once the 1st of July has passed I am no longer allowed to load the game through the patch? And the date February 1st is irrelevant in the second season?
I'm running all the Canadian and US leagues.

Yes, you are correct. Don't use the patch to start the game anymore.
