Good team to start with for OHL or WHL

Post by mooreadamc »

Hey all,

I wanted to start a new game as an OHL or WHL manager. I'm looking for a decent challenge. I simmed a year and noticed that Belleville was quite a bad team. But when I took them over they seem to have quite a few great prospects. Just looking for a franchise in ruins that I can hopefully fix up :). Thanks for the help.

Try the Saginaw Spirit.

I never have any success with them... although, I was the one who ran the Penguins into the ground my first try

From a quick check of an early in 2008 game Saginaw and Guelph allowed the most goals of any team in 2005 and 2006 respectively and Erie had streaks in 2005 and 2006 where they went over 11 games without winning each year. In the WHL the most goals allowed was Prince Albert and Medicine Hat so I'd say those could be good candidates; but I don't really know much of either league to tell you historically who the worst teams are or who has the thinnest talent pool :dunno:
