So I'm making my own DB, and I'm going to centre around the Czech Extraliga, since it has all that I want, but without the 55 teams in the Swedish and Finnish First Divisions...
However, it seems that if your team is relegated in the Extraliga, the game forces the team to fire you. I tried turning Disable Human Manager Sackings on, but that didn't work either. I was pretty sure that in the Swedish leagues that you could play as a relegated team in the First Division - but maybe I'm wrong.
My question is, is there any way to disable this feature? I would suck the fun out of the game if you were forced to quit your team and then wait for the AI to bring them back to life.
Any thoughts/advice?
*As an additional thought, there's no way to make the Czech Relegation league a playable league is there? Could I switch the other Czech league with say (strictly for example) the Finnish Suomi League, and then some how bind the Czech Extraliga and this faux-relegation league together?
Sorry to keep tacking things onto this thread, but I was just wondering if the leagues will still be attached even if one of the leagues countries changes. For example, if I make the Mestis and Suomi leagues Canadian based, would the Finnish first division (below Suomi) still be a relegation league? So would a Finnish team join a Canadian league?

Re: Auto-Firing Czech Extraliga
Sorry you didn't get a reply to your questions sooner. I've been without much time access the internet recently and I'm now catching up with all of the posts on the forum.
No I'm afraid the feature cannot be disabled. Technically, it is possible to hack the saved game to reinstate the human as a manager of an unplayable team, but I don't think it would really help you.ExxonPirate wrote:My question is, is there any way to disable this feature? No, you can't bind the leagues together. All of these things are hardcoded unfortunately. Perhaps as an alternative, you could move all of your Czech teams to the SM-Liiga, Mestis and Suomi Div?ExxonPirate wrote:As an additional thought, there's no way to make the Czech Relegation league a playable league is there? Yes I think you can change nationalities of leagues without a problem. It won't however have any effect on which leagues are linked together.ExxonPirate wrote:Sorry to keep tacking things onto this thread, but I was just wondering if the leagues will still be attached even if one of the leagues countries changes.
