Is it just me or is this a flaw in the game? At the end of the 08-09 season, I entered the NHL entry draft feeling get this routine over with. But BAM! When I checked out the attributes of John Tavarse (ranked #1), they are UNREAL! His attributes are abnormaly high with the most notables are slap shot:17 stickhand: 18 and wrister:18, resulting in a weird 44 goals 11 assists in Oshawa.
And it doesnt stop there. The whole 2009 draft group are WAY better than all the previous prospects I've seen in a draft. most of the 2nd rounders should go easily in the 1st round if place them in the previous few drafts, and the few top ranking goalies can go into the NHL easily as the backup or even as the starter.
I dont know what causes this but I think it might due to the fact that since John Tavarse was highly touted as 'the next one' when he's still 15, the game made his attribute progress to a degree like this over a long 4 year span, and the rest of the draftees' attribute also when up to prevent the draft from being extremely top heavy. Has anybody experienced this in the game too?

One thing you have to remember is that all real players are created by various people who play EHM, and all they can go by are stats, and their own ability to judge a player. Which means that the chance of inaccurate attributes is very high... especially with young players who always get hyped more than they deserve by pro scouts and the media (meaning that the researchers of EHM players really have no solid truth to go by other than the overhype... and that's what we see in the game.)
