Roughing After The Whistle Hockey League (RATWHL)

Roughing After The Whistle Hockey League
roughingafterwhistle.freeforums.org/ratw-hockey-league-f21.html

Commissioners: Steve Gardiner/Josh Lewis

The league has been running since January. We use freeware EHM.

Open teams in the RATWHL:

Buffalo Sabres - Missed the playoffs by a lot this year. There's a lot of young talent there and a few stars. Led by the likes of Hodgson, Armia, Grigorenko, Girgensons, Myers, Ristolainen, Zadorov and goalie Andrey Makarov. Roster mostly intact. ROSTER: http://ratwhl.netne.net/BUF.html

Calgary Flames - Certainly a better team than in real life. Ryan Getzlaf, Joe Colborne, Sven Baertschi and Curtis Glencross are the stars up front. A solid blueline that is pretty much intact. ROSTER: http://ratwhl.netne.net/CGY.html

Florida Panthers - A good mix of youth and experience, with young stars Kyle Turris, Mika Zibanejad, Jonathan Huberdeau, Nick Bjugstad and Erik Gudbrandson leading the way. ROSTER: http://ratwhl.netne.net/FLA.html

Los Angeles Kings - Previous GM completely overhauled the team. Nino Niederreiter, Joffrey Lupul and Alex Semin lead the way up front, along with Cam Fowler on the back end. Strong goaltending from Jonas Hiller and Michal Neuvirth. ROSTER: http://ratwhl.netne.net/LA.html

Nashville Predators - Just barely missed the playoffs this year, but it's a talented roster. Gabriel Landeskog (acquired for Weber), Seth Jones and Pekka Rinne are the big stars, with a good supporting cast. ROSTER: http://ratwhl.netne.net/NAS.html

Philadelphia Flyers - The roster is mostly intact, with the additions of Nathan MacKinnon and Nikolai Kulemin. Haven't had much success without an active GM, but the talent is there. ROSTER: http://ratwhl.netne.net/PHI.html

We're wrapping up the season 2 playoffs and the draft, and will be moving into free agency shortly, so this is the time to take over a team.

New Jersey is gone. Kings, Preds and Flyers are available.

We're about a month into Season 3.

Philadelphia Flyers - The roster is mostly intact, with the additions of Nathan MacKinnon, Nikolai Kulemin and an improvement on the back end. Haven't had much success without an active GM, but the talent is there. ROSTER: http://ratwhl.netne.net/PHI.html
