Wrong teams in AHL/ECHL - And why this is not an error

Post by mjggeb »

Hi,

I've downloaded the new roster updates (version 6.3) and applied them to the game. The game itself works fine, but the Hamilton Bulldogs (as well as a few other teams from the AHL) are in the ECHL. Can anybody tell me how to correct this error?

Thanks.

The game has a hardcoded number of teams allowed in the AHL. So some real life AHL teams have to go to the ECHL, there's unfortunately no way around this. If you wish, you can swap Hamilton's place with another AHL team yourself by using the pre-game editor.

Thanks for the information. Do you have a link for the Pre-Game Editor with instructions on how to use?

Here's the DL link. There's a link to the thread discussing the editor also. But I would say it's quite easy to use, once you take a look around for a while and get the hang of it. And do remember, if you add Hamilton to the AHL, you need to send another team to ECHL. And all divisions must have the same number of teams as they did before. Otherwise you'll have a game doomed for glitches and crash. Possibly even an explosion! ;)
