Hi, everyone. I did some searching through the forums and could not find a really solid answer, or at least a recent one, and with all of the updates coming out I figured I'd throw this out there..
I heard some initial complaints about the statistical accuracy and goal scoring rates for the game. Has any of that been cleared up? I own it, but have not spent much time with it. I was a novice EHM 2007 player but loved the detail of the game when I DID play and I'd like to get into the EA and whatever else is to follow, especially with my new found love for Footy Manager.
So what say you? Are the goal scoring and statistics in general fairly accurate at this stage? I plan on testing things out a bit on my own, but figured I'd ask here first..
Thanks everyone!

There is a Bugs thread http://www.ehmtheblueline.com/forums/vi ... &start=450 and a Simulation Feedback thread http://www.ehmtheblueline.com/forums/vi ... &start=400SkierP20 wrote:So what say you?
Here's a list of some of the gameplay issues I continue to see user posts about...
- scoring/offensive defenseman scoring to little (especially goals)
- need appropriate number of hits/blocked shots
- top centers/centers in general scoring to little (especially lacking assists) in comparison to wingers
- overpracticing players (all at 100%) having little/no affect on fatigue
- overplaying players in games (regularly double/triple shifting, using 1 goalie) having little/no affect on fatigue
- to many players decline immediately/severely at age 35
Riz has noted that some things (like hits/blocked shots) require significant time spent on tweaking/testing the 2D engine and so they can’t be addressed immediately…
There have been many changes/improvements (the game is NOT the same “under the hood” and researchers/editors are still learning how EHM:EA works).
The game is in “early access” (and there are biweekly updates http://www.ehmtheblueline.com/forums/vi ... =3&t=13623)
I haven't done any testing looking at "statistical accuracy" myself yet as I've been focusing on learning about the new game & editing databases...EHM:EA is as playable/immersive as past EHM games IMO (and because it’s still in development there’s potential for fixes/improvement!)
