Longest EHM shootout you've seen?
This was in a testing game so I can't really post a screenshot, and no, it wasn't a bug either... I had an AHL game that went to a shootout and ended up 20-19. They tied early on and then each side scored like 15 in a row, it was wild

I don't think I've seen anything out of the ordinary.
P.S. Are you allowed to say anything about the game? If so, what are shootouts like in 2007? I hated the ones in 2005, because while coaching Kitchener for a brief time, I saw every player who was set to take a shot, would score. Usually the game would eventually be won late in the second set of players, after someone would miss thier shot. It's like watching a soccer shootout(no offense to you soccer shootout fans).

Wow! 20-19?! Was there any real goalie on the ice???
However,no matter in which sport they are,i hate the shootouts!
In hockey,i strongly pray for the return of the tied games,as shootouts aren't an upgrade to this sport.
In soccer,it always sucks to see a team eliminated due to shootouts. Just take a look at the last World Cup Finals! And i don't say it because i'm french and we lost in shootous... I also found it was bad ass when France beat Italy in shootouts in '98,or when Italy lost to shootouts against Brazil in '94 finals.
The real winners of those sports must score real goals!!! not just a stupid lucky shootout.

I have no real problem with the shootouts in the NHL as long as it NEVER makes it's way into the playoffs.Shadd666 wrote:Wow! 20-19?! Was there any real goalie on the ice???![]()

I despise the shootout with the white hot passion of a thousand nuns [sic]
Aside from that though, yeah it was just an odd game as everyone kept scoring. The portion of the boxscore listing the shootout results was almost as long as the display screen area! I think it may have been one of those third games of a Friday, Saturday and Sunday night series that happen in the AHL occasionally so odd things happen sometimes.
I think it's possible there could be long ones on the NHL side but they'd probably come from goalies making a long string of stops not skater tallying a long string of goals.
