Great game few small problems

Post by Bruins86 »

before i get stated let me say i love this game to death it is my fav. game i have ever played by far...so with that said i know how good players will get put on waver dude to no cap room and rubbish but i have also noticed ppl getting released from there teams like i saw Hannu Toivonen the future of the bruins goaltending get released in the 1st few weeks of the game...thats just insane why would the comp do that his contract is small and he has a huge upside and then they go get Mike Dunham right after and pay him almost 2 mill per season for 3 seasons...just doesnt sound right...and also i saw the Red Wings sighn a contract with Niklas Kronwall for 8.4 mill per season!!!! the AI in the GM deptment needs to be tweeked i think...i dont know how many if any ppl have noticed this happening as well. i would post it on the SI forums but i cant cause when i try to join it says my e-mail has been banned from the site...odd since i have never registerd there

To you'r question im not too sure as I havn't really played the demo yet.

As for Si games though, for some reason they banned email adressed like Hotmail, Gmail, Yahoo etc.

So you'r best bet would be if you go to college/uni use that email address to sign up. Or buy one as they don't accept free email adressed.

Bruins86: I haven't seen this problem happening, but i mostly pay attention on my own team,so maybe it's the same way in my game.

As mark_htfc said, SI forums don't accept hotmail and yahoo! mail adress. Don't know why,but it's the way it is.

Although,as i joined the SI forums,i should report them this bug for you if you want. Just let me know ;)

Well, I absolutely LOVE this game, but its true!!! As B's fan u arent very happy with quite some things!!
Beginning with the player-ratings who arent very good...also with the some positions of the players are wrong because Brad Boyes played as RW all season long and is only listed as C....Kessel isnt signed either.

I have started two games, one as B's manager and the other unemployed, but I have "parked" the game as B's GM until a unfaked or a patch comes out...

And yes, I really see some strange things happening when I take a look at the B's as Prince Albert Raiders manager...

Greets

EDIT: just remembered the biggest fault in the B's roster: Alexei Zhamnov!!!!!
He's still around and counts against the cap, when he really is retiring because of his injury (think its a groin injury, but not sure!!)....he's still playing 3rd line center (Boyes is 4th line!!!) in my game!!! And god knows, that wont happen!!!

yeah boyes should be C/RW he is no good as a 3rd line center (i put Zhamnov on wavers and someone got him thank god) and the kessel as a free agent is annoying and he is no where near ready for the nhl in my game so i got him on an entry level deal and sent his ass to the OHL where he is 3rd for points with like 45 goals and 50 assists in 50 or so games. if anyone will report the bugs i posted before for me on the SI fourms that would be great

They banned them because people was absuing the board from what I recall. As I only found out after trying to register with my hotmail account. So I used my college one.

Yeah but if you had already registered with them using a hotmail account before they made the rule against it, you were okay. I'm still registered with my hotmail with SI. I think this could become a problem with some new people trying to register. Many ISPs (like Verizon for example) use Yahoo or MSN for everything now, even your email.
