Scouting Non-Major Leagues+Finding Fighting Skill Attribute?

Post by colinrsmall »

Does anyone know of a good way of scouting non-major (not of the ones that can be played) leagues? For example, if I want to personally scout the top scorers in the Swedish junior leagues, I have to find a player on a team in that league, click the team info, go to the league, and press scout on one of the players. When I do that however, it kicks me out back to the main front office screen of my team, or will sometimes advance a day. Is there no easier way to individually scout players in non-major leagues? Here's what I'm talking about (sorry for the flickering, Camstudio is being weird): https://gfycat.com/LimitedTanGhostshrimp

Also, does anyone know if it's possible to unhide certain hidden attributes? I want to find out the fighting skill of my players (since the game doesn't have fighting records for players), but I don't want to use EHM assistant and see all of the players' other hidden attributes.

If by "fighting records" you mean statistics, those can be found with the little arrows next to the players stats in the profile. FI = Fights and FW = Fights Won.

Oh, whoops. Thanks for pointing that out!

Been there. But I used EHM assistant, but to avoid unhiding all other hidden attributes, I filtered for players contracted to red wings and then set filter to skill fighting. I first use 15-20 scale and then 10-14 scale. And then I combine knowledge of this with the players mental attributes and I know who can be enforcer (except for Milan Lucic :)))))) )

But obviously, I didnt know about the fighting stats Tasku mentioned. Yet it is frustrating to keep scrolling for every players fighting stats in history.... :dunno:

In the Team Report page you can also see "the best enforcer" listed, by your assistant GM. Not sure how the choice is made, but there it is nonetheless.

Edit: Isn't there a hidden attribute called Agitation?

There are hidden attributes like; Fighting, Agitation, Temperament, Dirtiness that can probably determine Enforcers/Fighters

Some of those I'd rather like to see as visible attributes. Like agitation, for example. It is usually quite well known who are the league's best agitators. It's a visible skill, that you see on the ice quite easily, I think. I do like the concept of hidden attributes, though, as it brings an element of "try and see for your self" to the game.

That's my thinking with fighting. If someone fights all of the time, you should be able to see how well he stands his ground.
