Advice for getting Netminders to play the puck

Post by marksbros6 »

Hello all.

Can see plenty of advice on here regarding out-skaters but not seen much on goalie 'orders'.

I usually tell my goalies to stick in the crease after seeing them cough up empty goals trying to play the puck.

Would like to involve them a bit more in the power-play though, so any advice on unit/personal instructions to get them playing the puck in 5 v 4 situations.

You can change the instructions for power play on the same personal instructions screen.

Cheers bud, I get that, but was wondering if anyone had any idea of what instructions to give the netminders?

I've had a play with the personal instructions myself, but have only managed to make them (not quite) comically cough-up the puck in front of their own net leading to short-handed goals...
