Game Crashes on the Same Date

Ive played to Oct 27, 2034 but every time i try to sim to the next date my game crashes

The crashes started happening after i used a file editor so how (if possible) can i stop the crash from happening

This is also my only save file lol

rip, gonna lose 910 hours of progress

What editor did you use and what changes did you make? It could be the reason. I have same problem.. at the 18 july 2036 game crash

How to fix it??? pleaseeeee

I used RT editor ... there are some logs where I would see what game crash??

EHM was never designed for the saved games to be edited. Unfortunately many people assume they can simply change a setting without causing unintended consequences; but this is incorrect. Adjusting something in EHM requires a lot of other parts of the saved game to be updated too - something which the EHM Assistant, Editor or any memory/real time editor does not do. Making anything other than a very simple adjustment (such as changing a DOB) risks corrupting the saved game irreparably. I suspect your saved game is corrupt and unfortunately no one here will be able to fix it as we do not know the structure of saved games.

RT = Real Time. IIRC there was a "Real Time" editor for Championship Manager which was EHM 2007 compatible (it's simply a memory editing tool, similar to the ArtMoney tool I used to figure out the start date editing for EHM 2007). Either that, or it's shorthand for the EHM Assistant as that is effectively a real time editor (i.e. you're editing your game in real time whilst the game is running).

Yes, i undestand. Does it still give you a chance to see the editing from the editor or find out what crash game? The game must have a log..

No it's not that straightforward. Editing the saved game is undefined behaviour and is going to corrupt the saved game - i.e. EHM is expecting the data to be aligned in a certain way whereas your edits do not conform with that. The only way to figure it out is to debug the game by compiling the game's source code using a debugger/compiler. It's a bit like editing a Word document or a Windows DLL file in a hex editor and adding/changing random values - Word/Windows will likely crash without being able to tell you what's wrong (you need to debug it to do that).

is it possible to save the game somewhere from somebody to look at it and fix it?

I dont want to lose a two-year game...

if not when will the new version of TBL DB be able to start a new game
