Checking the opponent's star player

Post by BulldogsFan »

I was just wondering how many of you set your players to check the other teams top players points wise and if it actually works in your favor?

Truthfully?

There are honestly too many moving parts to really tell. I try to set one or two guys to check the opposition's top guys during playoffs, and sometimes when I think it really has no business working, it seems to. And other times there's no reason for it NOT to work... it just fails miserably.

Barring nino digging up some hard statistical evidence to show otherwise, I'm inclined to believe that it really is too unreliable to have any consistent effect. I'm more inclined to believe other tactics play a bigger role.
