Too Many Late Game Line Changes

Post by Canadian Passport »

I searched for this and didn't find anything but I can't believe no one else has had a problem with this. I'm playing the current challenge and I've seen way too frequent line changes in the last two minutes of just about every game I've played, I'm talking a line change every ten seconds or thereabouts, they just come out on the ice, dump the puck, and then go back to the bench. There's no attacking intent at all no matter what tactics I'm using.

Just playing the game this morning I had a couple of very weird things happen. I was playing against the Oilers and we were down by a goal. With 14 seconds left in the game Eric Daze and Mike Johnson came off the bench and got in behind the Oilers defense and were alone against the Oiler goalie. With 7 seconds left Daze dumped the puck into the corner and then he and Johnson went back to the bench, they didn't even try to score.

A couple of games later I was tied 3-3 with Nashville and Pavel Rosa got in on a breakaway. With 4 seconds left in the game Rosa, on a breakaway, passed the puck back into the neutral zone from the high slot area and of course none of my players were there because they were doing a line change.

Is anyone else seeing things like this happen?

Sounds like something that should be posted on the SI EHM Bugs Forum https://community.sigames.com/forum/292 ... ugs-forum/

If you haven't already advanced, I'd advise saving a copy of your game before going on...I can't recall the details/how but I think there's a way that Riz can read the game events of played games, and he may want to have a look (or maybe I'm remembering wrong)

I didn't have a backup but it doesn't matter. I started a couple of new games since then and I only see it happen when morale is low so I doubt it's a bug. I probably should have double checked that before I posted the thread.

I love this DB, I'll be playing it a lot more. It's my favorite NHL era.
