Trading with a NTC

Post by StealthB2X »

Is it possible to trade a player with a no trade clause?

I know that it is possible to acquire a player that has one, but can you trade one? Any tricks on getting them to waive it?

I know in EHM 07 you could increase the likelihood of someone waiving their NTC by making them 'available' prior to attempting a trade, this doesn't seem to work now, though.

The way I've done it in the past is I've set their status to not being needed, and if that didn't work, discipline them for no reason. If that doesn't work, then fine them for no reason.

But you have to be careful when you start getting into disciplining and fining, because you could upset some of your other players. If the player in question is a star, then you could upset everyone.

You don't really have to fine him at all. Just set him as not needed and that he is on block for no reason. He will waive NTC then.
