third pair D / Minutes played

Hello!

Have a question regarding ice time on a third pair player (defensemen).

Have normal distribution of ice time for my D and one of my D on the third pair plays 27-29 minutes per game. Must be said that he plays PP2 also.

When comparing ice time my top guys (also plays PP & PK) have 25-27 minutes. The other D on the third pair have 13-15 minutes. How come? The sample size is three games - every game the same tendency.
