Disabling firing?!?!

Is there a way to disable the firing of a GM? I mean idk but since last update (2017/2018) everytime I miss the playoffs for a single season (finishing like 11th) and trade second tier players for 1st round draft picks I just randomly get fired eveytime....it honestly gets pretty frustrating.

In the Preferences there should be option to disable human manager sacking.
