Accrued seasons

Hello!

New to this forum, new to the game.

Have some history playing earlier versions of the game but have quite recently started EHM1 and looked around. When looking at player profiles I can immediately say that accrued seasons do not work perfect. Some players have the right amount of seasons, some not (compared to seasons historically on the players profile).

My question: Does accrued seasons effect the game and how it handles wavier exempts and so on? In my world a quite important thing when handling of rosters and realism of the game.

Hopefully someone understand my question.
