I know this seems far off but I think I'll start this by 1st April. It's going to take a while to add all of the players and I have exams on the 29th, 30th and 31st March to revise for.
Don't worry, I'm not abandoning the idea. I promise that this will still go ahead. Atleast this gives other users to join and to give their opinions/suggestions.

I'm a little disappointed that I don't have the time to commit to the online league so I thought I'd start a TBL team on EHM.
The basic idea is that I replace a team and add all users from the TBL forums (those who are interested) in to the team and then sim/play the games and post the results, news, etc. in this thread.
I did this thing before on the SI Games OTF forum using NHL 2004 (I would have carried on with that but I had to leave my desktop computer at home. Also, my laptop's graphics card isn't good enough). It was very successful and good fun.
At the moment, I'm still trying to come up with the details of what to do. I'm thinking that each user chooses and ranks a number of skills and then I set these in the editor (e.g. the highest ranked skill gets a rating of 18, the second 16, etc.).
Ability could be relative to post count - I know this is a little difficult because most users have low post counts. Maybe those with atleast 30 posts would have the highest ability (maybe around 160?) and then it would work down from there.
Good idea or bad idea? Comments, suggestions?

. We (I) could make a php-script that adds randomly the attributes of each player, the potential could be calculated by the number of post. Only using the post numbers isn't a good idea coz some ppl could start postboosting and spamming the forums... (me for ex
