Implementing Draft 2019 into running Online League

Hey guys.

The topic already says it: Is it possible, to implement the data of the upcoming Draft into a running Online League database/savegame?

Would be great to keep our Online League realistic as long as possible.

Thanks in advance. :)

You could try editing a saved game using the Editor but I am doubtful it will work and you may indeed corrupt your saved game. So backup your saved beforehand.

Thanks for the feedback.

Another idea I have in mind:
Editing existing upcoming Draftees and just changing their names, nations and stuff to real players.

Maybe less risky to corrupt the savegame?!

Changing names in a saved game is very risky and will almost certainly result in jumbled names. This is because there are numerous tables in the saved game which the Editor cannot process as I do not know their structure. If any of those tables contain names then they will not be updated when you edit a player's name. Adding a name to the DB results in the Names tables being updated with new ID numbers which will result in the potential jumbling.

Aside from editing simple things such as attributes, editing a saved game is generally very risky.

Ok. Thanks again.

For a solo game I'd probably go for a try and risk it, but because it's an online league I think I won't do anything inside the database.
