I tried the 'Database Settings Editor' but it doesn't appear to work and now my game is corrupt it appears? Any chance to recover it?? Had done a lot of work with North American juniors and was making great progress.

When you open your database, if you go into Competitions -> Transfer Rules do they all say Out of Range? If so Archi does have a fix for this.Javs wrote: Tue Sep 08, 2020 3:23 am I tried the 'Database Settings Editor' but it doesn't appear to work and now my game is corrupt it appears? Yes that is what happens, sometimes the database just freezes at financial rules when loading in the editor. Like I said I tried the database settings editor, but it hasn't worked

Ping me on Steam/Discord and I can fix it for you, long story short do the following:
1) Make sure you have the latest version of the editor which addresses this issue.
2) Make sure your database version is set to 1025 (under Home)
3) Under Settings -> General - ensure 'Always save database using the latest EHM version' is UNCHECKED.
Number 3 was the cause of the issue, when the Editor was released with support for the 1.5 DB version (1033) it was auto-updating database versions, also the league structure export/import functionality had some issues that needed to be addressed. Basically what is happening is the DB thinks you have a DB of one version where some tables are in a different versions format. Archi created a tool that fixes the database when this happens.

What exactly did you try with the Database Settings Editor ("DSE")? When you loaded the DB in the DSE, did it state 1025 for each of the Created With Version and Database Version settings? If it does, change both of these to 1033 and save the DB. Then load it in the Editor and everything should be back to normal. Then on the Home screen of the Editor, change the Version drop-down menu setting to EHM 1025 and save the database.Javs wrote: Tue Sep 08, 2020 3:23 am I tried the 'Database Settings Editor' but it doesn't appear to work and now my game is corrupt it appears? Yeah I tried that, it freezes on financial rules when loading in the newest editor now. At first i would go through the steps and it would be fine but the game would crash when loading a new game and then the database would be back to corrupt, but now it won't load in the editor

Any file sharing site you like e.g. Dropbox or wetransfer.com and just post the link in here. I'm working long days right now so it might take me a week or so to look, so give me a nudge if you don't hear within a week of uploading.
