Hey all
Anybody tried FHM7 that can give an opinion? Getting frustrated with EHM and it's crashes lately especially when trying to use any kind of roster pack and was wondering how far along FHM has come now?

Tried it, 40-50 hours of different game play, teams, seasons etc.
It had some enjoyable moments as a sandbox experience, the sim engine is much improved from 6. The AI is still less than EHM's but that's easy to just not manipulate.
I had plenty of crashes during game play. 90% of the time I clicked on lines I would CTD. I got into the habit of saving everytime someone got injured, and then taking 5-6 attempts to change my lines, then giving up on the save because I couldn't get around the CTD. Others were just certain dates would crash or something would happen like a transaction and the next day I'd crash.
The UI still needs an overhaul. It's quit overwhelming with useless information and the info you want isn't always intuitive to go find.
Overall I didn't dislike the experience with FHM7, but I'm not as eager to make it work for me like I am with EHM, but obviously I have a strong bias towards one.

Yeah, good feed back ... so they're almost there. I had fired up EHM, did the Premiere Pivot roster pack. Started in the WHL as I like working my way up to the NHL, but got an unpassable error trying to fire an assistant coach. Do you tend to play with the default database or are you using one of the Workshop ones?

90% Pivot DB, 10% 06-07 retro DB with a ton of edits.
#1 advice for errors like that, load up before it happens and try and vacation past it.

EHM v FHM 7
I know this question gets asked practically every year but with the recent release of FHM7, how do the two games compare now?
