Editor freezing at Finance Info when opening a database

Hi,
I need help with opening and editing this one database in EHM Editor? I been using the database TBL Rosters 9.6 for a year or two now. I been able to make a lot of changes to it for my personal game. So, earlier this year I upgrade my EHM Editor to v.4.6 and I have not have trouble opening most database. However for some reason, I can't seem to be able to open the TBL Rosters 9.6 database. It seems to load right but then it stop at 86% (Finance Info) part and then after 1 or 2 minutes, comes up "Not Responding". So, I usually wait to see if it unfreezes and then I end of just closing the program. I keep trying but the same problem keeps happen. I'm not sure what to do.

Anyone have any ideas? Thanks

Some database Info:

Version: EHM 1033 (v1.5.X)

Please let me know, if there any other info you need. - I will try to get the info but can't promise it since the database won't open. Thanks

I think there was some.db # issues updated around version 0.4.2, try to downgrade to 0.4.2, see if your database opens, then save the database version to match your version of EHM. 1.4.1 or 1.5.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm going to try that as soon as I find a link to the v0.4.2. Right now, I can't seem to find it. I did however upgrade to v0.5.1 to see if that fix the problem but it didn't. I may have to message archibalduk to see if he can give me a link to it because the link only has v0.4.9 and newer.

Also recommend making backups before you make any changes/re-save in different versions just incase.

Thanks for the link. That worked. I used v0.4.2 and open my database. Then I saved my database as a new one and upgraded my editor to v0.5.1 (can't remember which one) and it works.

There's a bug in older versions of the Editor which means that the Database Version setting gets reset when saving. This means that when you next load the database in the Editor, the Editor sees the incorrect Database Version and thinks the database format is in a newer format than it actually is (the v1.4 DB format is different to v1.5). This was subsequently fixed in a later version of the Editor and really you should be using the latest version and not version 0.4.2 or 0.5.1. The latest version is always available here: https://www.ehmtheblueline.com/editor. I would highly recommend upgrading to Editor v1.0.2 (being the latest version).

If you encounter this issue again then you can download the EHM Database Settings Editor and then follow these instructions in order to fix the database.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm glad it was the editor and not my database file. I guess I really should upgrade to the latest version. I just usually give a newer version a few weeks before I upgrade to it. I guess I should upgrade to v1.0.2 soon.

I can't load my DB
the editor stop loading at 86% ''finance info''

I try to load it with the V1.0.0 and the V0.4.9

i was able to load it in the past month, maybe with an older version of the editor but i'm not sure
