It sure does. The "Rat man" should have gone home with a ring somewhere along the way. He made a career out of making expansion teams good squads.
The effort and desire of this guy was questionned early on (Phi, Edm) but sure could not be later in his career. Will miss Scott on the ice, although I think I saw exactly two Atlanta games this season.

I think that guys like Mellanby are naturals for coaching/management of some sort. It is a bummer he'll retire without having his name engraved on the Cup but he won't be forgotten for his dedication to and leadership on teams he was involved with. :thup:
