National team staff

How to start a new game playing as the GM of Belarus national team with the following coaching personnel:

-me as the GM
-Curt fraser head coach
-Glen Hanlon assistant coach
-Vladimir Tsyplakov assistant coach
-Eduard Zankovets assistant coach

At first I wanted to hire those four guys on the appropriate roles in BLR nat team with pregame editor. But it's impossible to assign a staff member to any national team in the editor. Well, I can make them just free agents with the editor and afterward just sign them in the game while starting my BLR GM career. But even if I can somehow signTsyplakov and Zankovets, I will never persuade Hanlon. The position of Curt Fraser is unclear in the game as well. Being GM/Head coach I can't sign him nor fire as he figures as BLR national team GM (!) ](*,)

Any idea guys?

Unfortunately, EHM doesn't get that deep with international management. All you can do is deal with the players and lineups.

Whether the editor can do something, I don't know... but I doubt it can if SI didn't code any support for international staff.

I guess the argument is that the country's hockey association has a big say in which staff are hired and so perhaps that's one reason why they didn't introduce the ability to hire/fire staff. Everyone works in the national team for a fixed period of time and then leaves - rather than the GM having a big say how/when staff leave.

National teams also have a ridiculously high "reputation/standing" or something in the game. You can sign almost anyone who is a free agent as head coach or assistent coach for even small countries. There is no way NHL head coaches would coach Denmark etc. in real life, but in the game - no problem, where do I sign?

Also, you can offer almost as much money as you wish - as if national hockey federations are big multi-million dollar corporations.

However finally I have signed Zankovets (BLR) as coach assistant.

So why couldn't Hanlon coach Denmark if he coached Belarus in real life which has approximately same level of play as Denmark has ;)

Actually, what I heard, Hanlon coached Belarus for free, with no pay, simply for "love of the game". In another words isolated incident, rare case ;)
