R.I.P. Mickey Renaud

Pretty tradgic news from the OHL

. Mickey Renaud, captain of the Windsor Spitfires, was found collapsed at his home, he died in hospital at the age of 19. My thoughts go to his family, friends and team-mates.

Sucks. Plain sucks. Wonder what the heck caused this? Hopefully nothing he could have prevented. I hate when kids (and he is a kid) get involved in things that they should not (talking about rhoids, drugs) just because they are young and feel invincible.

It is really sad to have to say this, but I hope he died of something natural, not dumb.

Same here. I always feel bad when I hear something like this, especially with young players...

But then if it's discovered that it was something stupid like drugs, I lose all sympathy.

I read somewhere it was a brain anhyeurism...god I spell that like I spell Niittymäki

So who knows? Poor kid.
