Likes the team's playing style

Post by vissia »

Hi guys, I've tried to find this with a search. But i can't locate much if any information...

I remember in my 1st season, a lot of my players have this line in their info page. I was running an altered version of slapshot. I didn't like it much as I was getting way to0 many PIMs to my liking. After that, I've changed to a few other styles including some less physical run and gun and even a more trap-like system (1-2-2 in O zone and 1-1-3 in N zone). After winning over 50 games, highest ave. goals scored, lowest ave. goal against plus the stanley cup each season for 5 years, the team never has that line ever again with any style. The system works... but the guys just never like it...

Has anyone have their players like the style year after year? What is your team's style?

I think it's just a case of more players finding that one style more to their tastes. :dunno:

Well, if they don't say they like it, doesn't mean they don't.

For the few observations I've had about it, it's all about the hidden attributes "offensive/defensive role". Offensive players like their tactics as low backchecking and offensive/creative, at least personal tactics.

I've never seen a defensive defenseman/forward say he likes the team style, though.
