Database Problem

Post by Laker2415 »

I'm hoping that someone can help me. I downloaded the 3.04 patch for the game and the unfaking database in that order. The game says that I am using the unfaked database when I go to load the game, however, when it gets to the screen that allows me to choose my team, all of the teams go back to All-American 4 (I want to use the United Hockey League for this instance).

Am I or did I do something wrong in the order that I was supposed to download the two files and/or did I end up putting the files in the wrong place (which I don't believe that I did)? Please help :)

1st, C:\Program Files\Sports Interactive\NHL Eastside Hockey Manager 2007\data\database, this is file to save the database in.
2nd, the database only works when starting a new game, which i believe your doing.
3rd, Re-download the Database and add it in the correct folder.

And just to avoid confusion: this is the correct folder only if that's where your game is installed.

If you have installed your game elsewhere, then this data/database folder should be located there.

And ofcourse the file needs to be extracted...

There's really nothing else to it. :dunno:
