Editing the budget

Post by JesseBoam »

I was wondering, I changed the budget of my team with the pre game editor, and now everytime i look at the home page of the in game, my average club salaries and my total annual player salaries are all orange, does anyone know how to fix this?

MOD NOTE: I've renamed this thread to something a little more descriptive of what you're asking. I've also moved it to the editing forum since that's what your question really pertains to. - B72

What are the numbers in these? Either list out what the Budget, Salary Cap, Average Club Salaries, and Total Annual Player Salaries are or post a screenshot. Most likely they are orange because your salaries are over budget or over the cap.

The numbers are: Balance in green 28, 869, 654

Budget in green 45, 900, 000
Salary Cap green 56, 700, 000
Averaged club salary in orange 48, 000, 000
Total Annual player Salaries in orange 51, 025, 000

And just a note, I am the Toronto maple leafs, so theoretically should i not have a lot more money than this? I am using the new Lidas Db 1.3 rosters, with just a few minor updates to personell, nothing to the leafs though, and the numbers in the editor are club cash at 68,000,000 and player budget at 59,000,000

Well that's why those two are in orange. You're over your budget.

Keep in mind that you need to start a new game if you edit anything with the pre-game editor.

Go into your : Sports Interactive\NHL Eastside Hockey Manager 2007\data\database folder. And then into the folder of the DB you want to change. And in there open your transfer_rules_config file with notepad or something like that and change the values to whatever you like.

That is to just change the salary cap, I want to change the amount of money I am allowed to spend. The cap for my game is already 56 million, but the leafs only allow me to spend 45, how do i change that?

I just started a new game with Lidas 1.3 db (unchanged) and here are my finances: Leaf's Finances

I'm not sure what's wrong with your game right now. You should have the same finances as me. Are you sure you are loading the right database when you start the new game?

Please be a little more specific with the steps you've taken so far and maybe we can figure out what happened.

Also, this question should really be in the Editing section.

You probably want to download the Pre-Game Editor. There you can change the team's budget. I moved some teams to more profitable areas (hello Hamilton) and then moved their budgets up a bit so that most teams were on even ground with that. Makes for greater parity I think.

You can't change budget with Pre-Game Editor, sorry. You must create a new team to do that or you have to change budget with Saved-Game Editor.

Well wouldn't you change the budget in the pre-game editor and THEN start a new game?
