I have searched the forum and didnt find it. My question is i am playign as a whl team and theres a defenseman i like in the bantam draft who i like his attributes and such the only problem is... He has listed as wants to go the US College rute. Is there a way if like i were to draft him it would change from College to Major junior or no?

Back when we played a challenge with Saint John in the QMJHL we ran into this issue. You could get some players to change to their mind and sign with you and others would stick to their guns and go to a US College team. There was no "trick" to getting them to sign. It's just a matter of luck, I think.

They TYPICALLY will stick with going to college. That being the case, I would not waste a low round draft pick on them, but you might take a flyer on one with a higher pick.
