NHL.com Logo Project *WIP*

Post by Reynaldo28 »

I am planning to make every logo in the game, into an NHL.com style logo, for a sleek, realistic look to the game.

It will take some time, but I am confident it will be good, post your views on this as well :)

Thanks
Will

How are you planning on releasing them? Are you going to release them all at once, in groups, or by league? I don't know if all users would be interested in having all of them. Maybe do them by continent or region? ie. North America, Scandinavia, Eastern Europe, the rest of Europe, Asia, and so on.

I thought about making them all together, then just don't add the leagues you don't want, but if people can tell me what they want, I'll be happy to listen :)

I vote for packs by region. I play using North American teams, usually NHL. I always set the AHL, ECHL, and Canadian Junior leagues detail level to "Enhanced", so I'd use those. Beyond that, I probably wouldn't use the others.

Another reason to consider releasing them in packs is because of file size. I'm not sure how big these images are but people are more willing to download something smaller, plus it doesn't put as much of a load on the file host.

That's great! Doing Great Britain at the moment, hard to fit in around school work, but it shouldn't be too long. :)

I vote for putting them together.
Are there any cons for having all logos (even for the leagues I don't play) installed?
On the other hand, we can have the packs immediatelly after you finish them. We don't have to wait for the whole pack.
So I don't know what's better :-D

How about making a pack for each league/region and a sort of a megapack, which includes them all? It would make it possible for people to download them in every way they like.

I believe they are in upper corners of the screen during watching a game. I'm not sure how your style will look like there.

When doing the british teams, are you just doing the Elite league and the EPIHL?? Or are you doing all of the british leagues (SNL, SPL, IIHL, Elite League, EPIHL, ENL)??
