GM Hockey 2010

Post by Shadowjoe »

Hi,

Does anybody ever heard of this game from Logique Eclectic? It's a little company from Canada that created a new hockey management sim and I wonder if some of you heard of it? I tried the shareware version and it's very accurate...

Some comments?

Do you have a link for the game's website? I see a bunch of places offering the 2010 demo as a download but nothing for the game's maker. When I Googled "Logique Eclectic", I got a website ( http://logiqueeclectic.fr-bb.com ) but there is no mention of 2010 there, just 2009.

Any ideas?

In fact, the 2009 version is the game engine, but with the 2010-2011 roster pack. So, it's the newest update available
Their website is http://www.lesims.net and in the upper section is the English part of their website

Thanks for the info.

Did you check the game options ?

You can activate the following:
Quebec can become a country
It's harder to sign free agents in Montreal

And you can set the prices for hot dogs too
:-p

I bought the game a couple of years ago, it's a fun game but it really needs more leagues and a updated GUI.

The programming behind the game is very good, the numerous game options are excellent and the game editor is easy to use.

I know Phoenix stopped further development of the game late last year, any chance that a new and improved version will ever be made?

Phoen|x just launched a roster update this morning, and regarding a new version, he is currently looking for a designer for a better website and some improvements regarding visual effects on the game ;)

I am very close to Phoen|x in fact ;)

There was discussion about this game here on TBL. Beukeboom made some skin to make it look better. Check it here.
