Hockey Day In Canada

Post by Minstrel »

:canada:

Today has 13.5 hours of live coverage to celebrate hockey accross Canada. It's a very cool thing if those of with Center Ice want to tune it in today. Lots of fun to see the kids playing hockey accross the country and really get a sense of the spirit of hockey that lives in Canada.

It is also of course a day that features three all Canadian matchups: Ottawa v Montreal, Toronto v Edmonton and finishing up with Vancouver v Calgary.

Being in "the city that hockey forgot" here in Chicago where hockey news comes somewhere after high school volleyball scores I watch and pretend like people around here actually care too... :)

So, happy Hockey Day in Canada everyone.

Watched the Habs and the Sens a bit before, but turned off the TV because I couldn't take more of the Swedish "commentators". :)

Hopefully the Oilers and Leafs game at 4 in the morning will be without those no good morons.

Ugh; it's the worst watching games with horrible commentators! Hope the Oil/Leafs game brings on a better crew for you.
