Editing Posts
As many users have requested the ability the edit their posts, we have agreed to enable this feature. As of now, you should be able to edit your own posts in all forums other than the Downloads Database. You are also able to delete your own posts within 15 minutes of making a post (the purpose of this is to allow you to delete accidental duplicate posts).
To be honest, I think we'd all agree we have a good and trustworthy community here. I don't think we have much to worry about with regards to abuse of the editing feature. However, just to be safe and to be clear about the Forum Rules, please take time to read the following:
The reason we had been reluctant to allow users to edit their own posts is because when it was previously enabled it was abused by one or two users - and it is something I've seen abused on other forums.
As a general rule, it shouldn't normally be necessary to edit your old posts. You would only need to edit a post if you need to correct a mistake or if the first post of a thread is used as some sort of a status update (such as this post which is used to provide the status of B. Stinson's Minecraft server). It is normally best to make a new post if you want to add more information about something you posted about before. It is always best to make a new post if you want to respond to somebody - otherwise it will be confusing for other users.
Please note that when you do edit a post, it will not give the topic an orange

Multi Quote
Since upgrading to the new forum system, I have been looking for a multi quote addon like we had for the previous forum. Unfortunately there is no such addon available that has been through phpbb's security/approval validation checks.
However, it is still possible to quote multiple posts using a slightly different method:
1) Click on the Post Reply button (don't use Quick Reply).
2) On the Post a Reply page, scroll to the bottom of the page and you will see the Topic Review which lists all of the latest posts. On the right hand side you will see an Expand List link which will make the list longer and more complete.
3) From the Topic Review list, click on the Quote buttons for the posts you want to quote in your reply. Et voila!
If anybody has any further requests for features or would like help on how to use a feature then please do ask - I'm only too happy to help
